Network Switcher’s goal is to help you easily switch from one network to another. The application achieves this by allowing you to create multiple net profiles. Said profiles include IP address, DNS, gateway, browser proxy settings, SMTP server, and more. Once the profiles are set up, you can easily activate them from the application’s interface.

The minimum system requirements for running Network Switcher are: 400Mhz processor or better, 32MB of RAM memory or more, IP-enabled network interface, Windows operating system. It is safe to say that modern and even older PCs will have no problems meeting Network Switcher’s system requirements.

The main panel of the application’s interface lists all the net profiles you created. The default view mode is Large Icons. If you want to, you can switch to List View.
Above this main panel there’s a File Menu and a toolbar with buttons to activate a profile, edit a profile, create a new profile, and access the Settings menu.

There are lots of options to go through when creating a new profile: pick a name, pick an icon, pick a network interface, set up browser proxy and homepage, adjust Windows Firewall settings, add network shares, set the default printer, pick a time zone, and more.

Once you’re done setting up all the profiles you want, you can easily switch from one to another. There are several ways of activating a profile: from the application's interface, by selecting the profile and clicking the Activate button; from Network Switcher’s interface, by using a hotkey; from Network Switcher's system tray icon, by right clicking it and then selecting the profile you want to activate.

Please note that Network Switcher is not free, it is only free to try. A prompt will show up every time you launch the application and tell you how many days you have left in the trial.

Network Switcher works as advertised. It allows you to create net profiles and switch between profiles.

Pros

The system requirements for running Network Switcher are quite low; installing the application is an effortless task. You can choose between Large Icons and List View. There are many settings to play with when creating a profile. There are several ways of activating a profile.
